Republican presidential nominee and former U.S. President Donald J. Trump attends a campaign event in Asheville, North Carolina.

Trump claimed that the Biden administration had brought America to the brink of another Great Depression and “World War Three” yesterday, as he challenged Kamala Harris to three presidential debates next month.

The former president, in a press conference from his residence in Mar-a-Lago, warned that “our country right now is in the most dangerous period it has ever been in” from an “economic standpoint and a safety standpoint”.
