Vladimir Avetian is a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of Governance and Regulation at the University of Paris Dauphine-PSL. His research interests lie in the fields of applied microeconomics, urban economics and political economy.

He works with large-scale original data, such as user-generated and textual data, to address major social issues that are often complex to study by traditional methods.

Vladimir received his PhD in Economics from Sciences Po in 2022. Prior to that, he obtained his master's degree at the Paris School of Economics and his bachelor's degree at the Higher School of Economics (Moscow).
