Concerned about the huge amount of waste we’re littering the Earth with, 20-something Germaine Tan sets out to meet young innovators who think they have the solution to one of Singapore biggest headaches. With no time to waste, she meets a bunch of students who are doing their part to help recycle plastic, from primary students and their unique way of cleaning used plastic, to a final year university student who’s literally paving the way for plastic waste. But things become hard to swallow when Germaine comes face to face with food waste that are being disposed of by eating it! From edible cutlery to wriggly worms and yummy juices, will Singaporeans be able to make the big shift to keep our country a cleaner and healthier place to live?
