This documentation provides basic equations to calculate pressure drop of a pneumatic conveying system. Each basic equation consists of parameters/variables such as density, velocity, gas friction factor λGas, solid friction factor λSolid, ratio of particle velocity to gas velocity c/v, solid to gas ratio μ. This documentation will discuss how to determine these variables, wherein we will refer to the published researched papers and literatures from experts in the field of pneumatic conveying system. Though this documentation is within the boundaries of published research papers and literatures, viewers are encouraged to peruse other relevant literatures in addition to the published research papers and literatures mentioned in the references for further exploration to gain more insights in the field of pneumatic conveying system.
