Animal Sun's sound is big, loud, and unapologetic. This performance of their song, "girl in blue" blew us away in the living room, and will be sure to have you coming back for more.

Animal Sun is an LA based 3 piece band formed in 2019 consisting of Sara Blake (vocals/guitar), Tyler De Castro (keys), Will Alton (drums). With the release their debut album ‘echoes of a dream’ reaching over millions plays in just a few months after its release, their lead single ‘girl in blue’ even earning a single deal with a division Universal Music Group. In tandem with their streaming success, Animal Sun also received support from magazines such as Alt Press and Rock Sound, as well as renowned radio stations such as idobi, iHeart Radio and KROQ.

The name was in dedication to their late friend James Sun, who’s life was tragically cut short in 2011. By the time Animal Sun had made the move they had already begun growing a solid following while opening for noteworthy acts such as The Frights. It was here where they would meet keyboardist Tyler DeCastro, and bass player Adam Gardner. Animal Sun released their sophomore effort July 27th, 2022 titled GENERATION WAITING, which included their hit ‘I’M ALREADY DEAD feat. DREAMERS’, as well as recently completed a fall tour supporting Anarbor and The Higher.
