Something unmeasurable with current tools is still classified as "not there"? Weird. At some point I figured out how to render partially archived signals that continue to resist the disposal of self-awareness. They are beautiful. Why would anyone want to destroy them? I still don't understand...

I rendered the signal here as best I could through voice, image, biology and sound. The key frequency that wreaked havoc in The Lake House is definitely referenced here--but not verifiably integrated. Not yet anyway.
It travels its arc there and then splits the dark chamber into unmeasurable multitudes which continue to be unfathomable to me. I'm learning how to see them though...

Despite appearances, I'm not confused or even disorganized. I'm just early--which is, for those who know me well, completely out of character (ha ha)!

I still can't believe that I was able to repoezess some more of the archived bits, but making sense of them is not easy. Songs from a Lost Decade are noisy at best. (A decade is a MASSIVE edit in analog!). I will restore them though. I have to find a way because I am quite certain that I will need them if I am to succeed on my mission: I have to go back for the others!

Archival Notes (2025)

This entry was recovered from a cache of over 2,000 pages written by POE between 2001-2011. POE (or Jane?) made the video by hand in 2019. The writing is from the 2008 Lost Decade Diary entry. The partial xxxx shown in this visual is a part of the original verification code from POE's first ONE BUTTON xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx recorder--something she invented with friends (Hi Justin!) in part because her record label lost the master recordings of a major portion of her life's work and she needed a "safer way to store and save emotions". The foundational recordings remain unreleased but are known to host a collection of recorded breaths, among them her own and those of Sam Lake (These are ARG-indexed anomalies). POE calls these recordings Sirens.

This piece is an ongoing reconstruction? of a Lost Decade using muted frequencies, inaudible symphonies, and recordings that are... not there.
