Praalstoet Van De Gouden Boom is celebrated every five years. In the first part of the procession shows the most important moments of Flanders's history. The second part revives the celebration surrounding the marriage of Karel de Stoute with Margareta van York. 1,700 extras, 120 animals consisting of 80 horses, 16 vehicles, 5 giants, 150 people behind the scenes.

After the work was finished I quickly drove to the location of the parade and looked for a comfortable position to watch and document this event, this was the event held every five years and I was immediately behind the scenes. Of course I don't waste this moment, move quickly and take the opportunity while I can. This experience clearly adds to my insight into performing arts in Europe, especially Belgium-Bruges. This event is neatly successful and has attracted visitors of up to 75,000 people. For me this was very satisfying not only because I was the only one who had hijab and from Southeast Asia but was longing for the world of art full of passion and insight, I also had new acquaintances even though in limited Dutch I continued to progress and as usual full of enthusiasm. So art can be done everywhere, we can be involved in it as well as become connoisseurs too.
