This video creates a custom tab for the Excel Tools Add-in created in this video:    • How to Create a Powerful Excel VBA Tools A...  . It uses RibbonX to embed a custom tab, which allows it to go with the .xlam file for easy distribution.

Key Note: You cannot edit the ribbon XML file while the Excel file is open so when editing an Add-in you have to close ALL Excel instances.
