This video shows how to bake Turkey, Squash, and Berry Dog Treats from scratch. The 22 ingredients listed below may seem like a lot, but you can choose your own dog treat baking adventure. Ingredients:
2 c. Ground Turkey (cooked and cooled in the fridge)
2 c. Pumpkin Puree (cooked and cooled or canned)
2 c. Butternut Squash Puree (cooked and cooled)
4 c. Flour (divided)
4 c. Oat Flour (divided)
1 can (15 oz.) Pinto Beans
1 can (15 oz.) Beats
1 can (15 oz.) Yams (1 yam cooked and cooled)
1 c. (each) Blackberries, Blueberries, and Currents)
1/2 c. Peanut Butter (creamy w/o Xylitol)
1/2. c. Raw Honey
1/2 c. Lentils (presoaked in water 30 min. and drained)

Egg Mixture:
2TBS. Pinto Bean juice
1 TBS. Chicken Bouillion powder
1TBS. Coconut Oil
1TBS. Flax Seed
1 Egg (room temperature)
1TBS Turmeric (ground)
1/2 TBS. Ginger (ground)
1/2 TBS. Cinnamon (ground)
1/2 TBS. Baking Soda

Materials:
Stand Mixer with paddle attachment, Large Saucepan (to cook pumpkin and squash), Skillet (to cook ground turkey), Ninja Blender or Food Processor, 2 Bowls (small for egg mixture and large for turkey and flour mixture), 2 Silicone Spatulas, Hand Whisk, Cookie Sheet(s), Parchment Paper, Fridge, Oven, Timer, Measuring Cups, Spoons, 2 Sieves, an Ice-cream Scoop or Cookie Cutters (optional), and Freezer Bags or Airtight Container(s).

Step 1:
Gather material and ingredients. Thaw frozen fruit if needed and store in fridge.
Make egg mixture. Set aside.

Step 2:
Cook the ground turkey in a skillet and drain. Cool in fridge.
In large bowl combine ground turkey and soaked lentils, then add 1/2 of the flour, and 1/2 of the oat flour. Set aside.

Step 3:
Wash, cut, and cook pumpkin and butternut squash. Cool in fridge.

Step 4:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Combine fruits, puree, pinto beans, beets, and yam puree in blender. or food processor.
Add egg mixture, raw honey, and creamy peanut butter and puree.

Step 5:
Combine pureed mixture with the dry turkey, lentil, and flour mixture. Mix well.
Add the other 1/2 of flour and oat flour. Mix well.
Refrigerate for a few minutes or go directly to the next step.

Step 6:
Drop as a bar if going to use cookie cutters when cooled.
Or use ice-cream scoop and place onto cookie sheet(s) lined with parchment paper.

Bake 15 - 25 minutes for drop dog treats and 25-35 minutes for a bar to make cut out treats.

Let cool, place in fridge until cold, then date/label and store in freezer bags or airtight container(s) up to 3 months in the freezer.
