Tonight I attended a sacred fire ceremony with the incredible Martha Pico @abuelamarthapico from Mexico. It took place in my happy place and the location I feel most connected and grounded @thesalisburycentre Martha is a wisdom keeper and ceremonial leader known for holding powerful, heart-centred spaces. Through ritual, fire, song, dance, and deep connection with the ancestors, nature, and spirit, she guides communities into presence, clarity, and transformation.

Tonight’s ceremony stirred something deep within me. I experienced a powerful shift not just emotionally, but holistically, deeply, in my body and spirit. I could feel old fear, anger, and the voice of my inner critic rising and through movement, through singing, through the roaring fire and the grounded, sacred container Martha created, I was able to release it.

It felt powerful and I felt a deep connection to my heart, in the way I fell in love again with myself, with life, with the mystery of it all. I embraced who I am whole heartedly and was able to feel the strength of my being. I celebrated who I am and accepted all parts of me. I felt held by the fire, by the drums, by the ancestors.

This week I’ve been sitting with a big decision, and tonight, I finally felt peace. I know now in my bones that the path I’ve chosen is the one that truly serves me. I trust the unfolding. I trust the universe to guide the next steps!
