My love for coffee have grown since my early childhood memory of going grocery shopping with my Mum and getting coffee.

The smell of freshly grounded coffee always remind of a home feeling.

Years later I choose Hospitality as my chosen career , as my fondest memory of traveling into some foreign land and to be met with ever so helpful staff of the hotel that stayed in , stay in the memory , the passion to delivery unreasonable hospitality brewed from such an early age.

Working with several International chain Hotel, allowed me to experience the level of training and hospitality by the leaders of the industry

At one time being at the helm of a luxury villa complex in Seminyak Bali as my first General Manager experience fulfill my heart to finally able to lead and inspire others.

Building Whale and Co was something of a lesson that keeps giving back What started as an "itch" that I have to have place of business that I can get away from work and have a great coffee at the same time becomes a learning ground that throughout 10 years of our existence that Creative Hospitality is the currency that always be valued.

Yes, I learn also how to build brand that last, solid business forecast and finance report but getting feedback from customer and see how your business reputation grows over the years with more happy customer coming your way.

More importantly building team works the work at the high standard that you have set and happily doing it, embracing the company culture as they see this is right fit for them.

Juggling between work Monday to Friday being a General Manager of International chain hotel and come Saturday and Sunday I put on a different hat and run the coffee shop together with our associates as a barista.

Seeing my team member developed their skills and spending enough time giving them a one on one opportunity for teaching them new skills or listening to them for any inputs is the same management principle that I applied on my work as General Manager and vice versa.

I loved every minutes of team and customer interactions, deliver the unforgettable hospitality experience and turn them in our loyal brand ambassador. Whether in a coffee shop or meeting the hotel guest during their stay under the hotel that I managed.

Its the life that I would not trade with any other.
