San Francisco's best historic Hotel The Palace

If you love historic hotels and luxury hotels this is the place to reserve a room. This hotel was built in 1875, the 1906 earthquake caused a fire that gutted the hotel, and the original horse carriage entrance was refurbished into the Garden Court where you can sit and have high tea under beautiful Austrian crystal chandeliers today. This hotel has so much history they have a full room dedicated to it. Something definitely worthwhile stopping in to check out while you stay here. They also have a 24/7 gym and temperature-controlled pool that is covered year-round so you can get a swim in. The Palace hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the business district, Fisherman's Whar, and to Union Square if you want to go shopping.
