Blackberry PlayBook login screen jailbreak bypass

This video is legit, please read further into the description.

This jailbreak is done using Hotspot Setup "captive portal" feature.
The same NodeJS script that's used to bypass connection test on 3DS can be used to crash the Setup app to the home screen.
Sadly it seems like this jailbreak is tethered for now (jailbreak required again after reboot), as the setup process is never completed.

Yes, it actually takes this long for Setup to crash, so I just played modified Pinball Deluxe (CGB colorization and full-speed physics) on my GBA SP, just so I can record it happening uninterrupted.

Sorry for the video quality! I had to re-record this many times, and every time my phone ran out of space before the crash happened, so I had to set it to the lowest quality to make use of the tiny amount of space I had left.
I hesitated to open the settings to avoid showing the serial number, but the OS version is 2.1.0.1917.
The first footage would've showed me factory resetting the PlayBook, but it just takes way too long, so there is no way to fit the footage into my phone's storage. Rest assured, I did factory reset from the Security settings.

The only way to make internet usable is to open Setup, disconnect, and re-connect without using the HTTP proxy. Luckily you can just swipe up and close Setup, once the bypass is done.
