Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib R was famous for his virtuous qualities of courage, generosity, helping the afflicted, and tolerance of the heart. It was narrated on the authority of the Messenger of Allah – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – that he said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, it is written with Allah in the seventh heaven, Hamzah, the lion of Allah and the lion of His Messenger.”.
