Finally got back on the water after a few dry weeks of not fishing. The tide was low, but we all had the itch to get our salt fix. So Nate, Sean, and myself decided to meet up at Fort Desoto to try our luck at putting some meat on the yaks. Equipped with live bait we encountered plenty of fish and even an overly friendly manatee that wanted to be more than friends with my kayak. This trip ended up being another memorable one for the books. When the weather is good and the tide is right it’s hard to ever complain about being on the water.
