One person remains unaccounted for following an explosion at an industrial estate in South Wales.

A building was destroyed and a major incident was declared when fire broke out at Rizla House on Severn Road, Treforest Industrial Estate, at around 7pm on Wednesday.

Flames and smoke were seen coming from the area with firefighters still reportedly tackling the huge blaze on multiple fronts.

Police reported there were no serious injuries but the local MP revealed there were "walking wounded".
