The emergence of Homo Sapiens has its origin in Africa. Evolving from the ancient human species, Homo Erectus, our ancestors finally take on our appearances. This is a bite size journey of how our ancestors began to behave in what we would consider modern. Before our species had come to possess all its modern traits, some ancient humans split from the rest of our species and journeyed deeper into Africa. The San people, or otherwise known as the Khoisan or the Kalahari bushmen, are the oldest human race dating all the way back to the origin of our species. They are the oldest humans and they mark the beginning of the history of our world because whenever someone wants to find out what ancient humans behaved like or looked like, they use the San people as a basis. The San people likely saw their own behavioural evolution during this time, but it is believed that they were isolated enough from the rest of our species that they are the best representation of our ancient human history. This is why we believe that a click language was our earliest language.
