US Olympic sprinter Fred Kerley arrested after altercation with police in Miami | ABS-CBN News

U.S. Olympic sprinter Fred Kerley was arrested early Friday (January 3) morning in Miami Beach after an altercation with police.
Kerley, who won a bronze medal in the 100-metre sprint at the 2024 Paris Olympics, was recorded on police body cameras being wrestled to the ground and then tased and handcuffed.
The 29-year-old was booked in Miami-Dade County for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to police records but was released later on Friday.
