Strikes in Ancient Rome - A History Card Trick

A long, long time ago in ancient Rome, there was a conflict between the classes. This resulted in three 'secessions of the plebes', a series of general strikes by the people of Rome. We're going to try to recreate this early conflict with a deck of cards, through a classic magic trick called oil and water.
