Educate Above All – “Unite to Protect” London Campaign.

In partnership with Educate A Child International, Educate Above All Foundation launched a powerful awareness campaign to advocate for the right to education for children in conflict zones. The campaign featured a series of adverts with devastating facts, displayed across the London Underground over several days in September, highlighting the urgent need to protect children, and education, above all.

I was commissioned to document the campaign at the stations, capture public reactions, and produce a short advocacy film that would later be presented at a United Nations Conference on Education in Geneva. The video aimed to influence key global decision-makers, with a clear and urgent message: Unite to Protect.

In addition to the main film, we created a portrait (upright) version for use on social media. Both versions will also be used for internal communications and web.

In my role as producer I oversaw the production from start to finish bringing on board a team and working closely with the charity.

I brought on board James Cook for filming and editing, supporting him with direction throughout the process and we worked together on the final edit, making it as tight and impactful as possible.

We were fortunate to work with Sarah Goddard, a seasoned charity fundraising professional, who engaged members of the public across London to gather unscripted, heartfelt opinions on the campaign’s message.

With guidance from Transport for London’s Film Office, I handled location permissions and coordinated closely with station staff, whose cooperation was invaluable during our shoot days.

We featured Amr Ramadan, Youth Advocate for EAA, as our presenter for the film’s opening and closing segments, who you can see in the EAA charity jacket in the video.

The Outcome is a powerful and emotionally resonant short film that amplifies the voices of the British public and international visitors alike. Their unscripted and genuine reflections underline the shared belief that children, especially those in conflict zones, deserve the right to education — above all.

This project serves as a moving call to action for global leaders to prioritise the protection of education in times of conflict, reinforcing the message that schools and learning must never be casualties of war and terror.
