When it came time to introduce solids into my baby’s diet, I did not use baby-led weaning.

🤯Because in my mind it would really just be gut-flora-led weaning.

Whatever his microbes wanted to eat would be the foods he gravitated toward….

🦠 What’s gut flora you ask? It’s a highly organized microbial mass that lives inside the gut and around the body.

The gut flora plays many roles in immune, brain, and digestive functions.

💪Healthy microbes means a healthy body.

In our modern world, with the loss of traditional food practices, medicalized births, c sections, formula feeding and antibiotics in pregnancy and birth, a baby’s gut flora has shifted.

So when it came time to start solids, having a c section myself, I used a system of food introduction that helped build my son’s gut and balance his microbes

🍲I took the opportunity with him as a baby to positively influence the state of his gut flora with homemade food made from love :)

The results speak for themselves… He is 3 years old now and extremely diverse palette, enjoying liver, CLO, meats, seafood, yogurt, sauerkraut, fermented carrots, cabbage, cooked veggies, and fruits on occasion.

🫶🏼And since hearing from hundreds of mothers from my course and this page, I witnessed mothers heal their babies from eczema, allergies, digestive discomfort and more.
