Extremely heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over East Rajasthan on 28th & 29th July with very heavy rainfall on 30th & 31st July.
Isolated very heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh on 28th; West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh on 29th July.
Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Uttarakhand during 28th July-03rd August; Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, East Uttar Pradesh during 28th-30th July and 03rd August; Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh on 28th, 29th July & 03rd August; East Rajasthan on 01st August and West Rajasthan during 28th July-01st August Light/moderate rainfall at many places accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning likely over Western Himalayan region and some places over
the plains during next 7 days.
The low Pressure area over northwest Madhya Pradesh & adjoining east Rajasthan persisted over the same region at 1430 hrs IST of today, the 28th July, 2025. The associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists.
The trough from the northeast Arabian Sea to southeast Uttar Pradesh across Gujarat, East
Rajasthan, cyclonic circulation associated with the low-pressure area over northwest Madhya Pradesh & adjoining East Rajasthan at 3.1 km above mean sea level persists.
The monsoon trough at mean sea level continue to pass through Sri Ganganagar, Jhunjhunu, center of low pressure area over northwest Madhya Pradesh & adjoining east Rajasthan, Panna, Daltonganj, Purulia and thence east-southeastwards to the northeast Bay of Bengal.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over south Punjab & neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea
level persists.
The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric level with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 65°E to the north of Lat. 30°N persists.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh & neighbourhood extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level persists.
The trough from north Bihar to Manipur across the above cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh & neighbourhood, south Assam between 0.9 & 3.1 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists.
