"The 2028 race for the White House is already heating up with more than two years still to go.

Speculation continues to swirl over who will run for the Democratic and Republican presidential tickets in the next election. A new Emerson College poll, released Thursday, showed Vice President JD Vance with a huge advantage over his possible rivals for the GOP nomination.

Fifty-two percent of likely GOP primary voters said they would support Vance for the nomination, while 20% said they would support Secretary of State Marco Rubio."
