My sisters and I took an 8-day cruise with Carnival Vista when we discovered Curacao. We chose the excursion "Curacao Highlights and Mambo Beach" which took us on a fun tour of the city (with a great tour guide) and we ended our trip at Mambo Beach. Mambo Beach was beautiful. It had cabanas, chairs, a bar, plenty of shopping and good food. We learned great details about the culture of the people of Curacao. There was also a brief stop at the popular Blue Curacao Liquor Factory where we were able to sample the liquor, make purchases and use the facilities.

Overview
Spend half the day discovering the history and culture of the Dutch Caribbean on a tour that includes colonial forts, pastel-hued buildings and time on one of Curacao’s best beaches. Enjoy a commentated drive through the old city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pass Rif Fort, built in 1829 to defend St. Anna Bay. See the floating pontoon bridge, plus cross Queen Juliana Bridge while enjoying spectacular views of the harbor, the capital and city. Continue to Landhuis Chobolobo, an early-19th century plantation house that now operates as the distillery for Blue Curacao Liqueur. Be sure to have a taste of this world-famous spirit. Then head to the eastern part of the island, driving by the stunning cliffs of Caracas Bay and enjoying the breathtaking views. Your next stop is Mambo Beach, where you’ll have a couple of hours to relax and gaze at the turquoise Caribbean Sea, go for a swim or play on the pristine beach.
