Hibernian FC made it 13th time unlucky for city rivals Heart Of Midlothian who were top of the table. Predictably, the game started at a whirlwind pace but was very scrappy, with referee John Underhill kept busy by a rash of niggling fouls. The match was an even contest until Hearts had Jankausakas was sent off after a second bookable offence.
