Of cancer survivors, 40-100% will experience sexual changes after cancer treatment, particularly amongst those impacted by 'below the belt' cancers. Fortunately, psychosocial and medical treatments have been proven to improve sexual wellbeing. However, there continues to be a gap between those who get support and those who need it. Dr. Lawsin will provide psycho-education on common sexual changes after cancer and strategies to cope. Cancer can take away a lot, but it doesn't have to take away your sexual wellbeing.

About The Presenter: Dr. Catalina Lawsin is a clinical health psychologist who has spent the last 20 years specializing in psycho-oncology as an Associate Professor, clinician and researcher. Dr Lawsin's research addresses sexual concerns after cancer for survivors and their partners. She has led numerous multi-disciplinary teams to design and test e-health psychosexual interventions to improve access and reach of proven treatments to improve quality of life amongst cancer survivors. Dr Lawsin founded Psychotherapy Without Borders, where she provides individual and couples therapy in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and online.
