Senayan City (commonly abbreviated as "Senci") is a superblock in Gelora Village, Tanah Abang Subdistrict, Central Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta. The superblock, established by developer Agung Podomoro Land, consists of a shopping center of the same name which was inaugurated on June 23, 2006, as well as 2 office towers namely Panin Tower and Menara SCTV (or SCTV Tower).

Jalan Gerbang Pemuda is the main road located north of the Bung Karno Sports Center area and connects Bendungan Hilir with Palmerah, Jakarta. The 1.2-kilometer road runs from the U-turn of Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto (Bendungan Hilir) to the intersection of Jalan Asia Afrika. This road crosses two urban villages:
Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta

On this road is the Senayan Park (SPARK)[1][2] shopping center (formerly Taman Ria Senayan), the Head Office of the Public Broadcasting Corporation TVRI and TVRI DKI Jakarta Station, the Office of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, the side entrance of the Jakarta Convention Center and the Gelora Bung Karno area. Access to this road is quite often closed due to demonstrations around the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9] In addition, this road is often used as a wild car racing arena.[10]

Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto or Jalan Gatot Subroto is the name of one of Jakarta's main roads and is the center of business or called the Financial District (Sudirman-Thamrin-Kuningan axis). The name of this road is taken from the name of an Indonesian National Hero, General Gatot Soebroto. This road stretches along 7.0 KM from Pancoran Statue to Slipi, Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The entire section of this road is an odd-even traffic restriction area (Valid Monday-Friday 06:00-10:00 and 16:00-21:00 WIB).[1] On this road are the MPR / DPR RI Building, LIPI, Semanggi Plaza, Sarbini Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, and Jakarta Design Center.
