Скачать или смотреть Passiflora Snow Queen: how I grow this exotic looking hardy white passionflower in UK

First of all apologies if in the video I talk about this plant as Passiflora Constance Elliot, but it was sold to me as Constance Elliot therefore I thought this was the variety I owned. Thanks to passionflower Facebook groups and YouTube comments on my channel, I found out that this plant belongs to the variety Passiflora Snow Queen and this is a very popular variety of passionflowers, with its very exotic looking white flowers, different from the wild form of the blue passionflower Passiflora caerulea, however shares with its ancestor the characteristic that can be very invasive in the garden, covering most of, if not all, the surrounding plants with its twining tendrils that allow this vine to climb over all supports of different types on which the plant can get a grip, including obviously other plants. The flowers in addition to be very exotic looking, are lightly fragrant. This plant thrives in full sun or at least partial shade and is very easy to cultivate in well drained soil. In addition to the Snow Queen and the Costance Elliot, other white varieties of the blue passionflower are available as well as varieties of other colours e.g. Purple passionflowers as the ones I bought a few days ago in two supermarkets, featured in this video. Definitely a great plant for tropical looking gardens in the UK because it is hardy in my experience to at least down to -8 Degrees Celsius and reported to be hardy down to USDA zone 6, but as I wrote, beware of its invasiveness.
