Flettner Fl-282 V6 Kolibri Hummingbird test by Kriegsmarine

Flettner Fl-282 Kolibri was a single-seat open cockpit intermeshing rotor helicopter, produced during WWII in Germany by Anton Flettner. The Fl-282 V6 & V9 were the naval versions used by Kriegsmarine for convoy protection and reconnaissance. It was the World's first series production helicopter. In this video, a Fl-282 V6 helicopter registered as GF-YF during operational tests aboard the Kriegsmarine's minelayer “Drach” (“Schiff 50”, ex-Yugoslavian “Zmaj”) while operating in Aegean Sea, north of Crete, Greece.
