In this video I explain what sciatica is. Essentially sciatica is leg pain caused by abnormal pressure on a nerve in the lower back. The most common cause of sciatica is a disc herniation, or prolapse. I also discuss the role of x-rays, CT and MRI to diagnose the cause of sciatica.
