English Championship / Premier League Winners 1889 to 2023

With its first edition in 1889, the English Championship, currently the Premier League, is one of the main and oldest professional football leagues in the world! It is also considered one of the most competitive and exciting in the world.

The league is made up of 20 clubs that face each other in a round-robin system, totaling 38 games per team in the season. The top six qualify for European competitions, while the bottom three are relegated to the second division, the EFL Championship.

The Premier League, in its current format, has been played since 1992, and Manchester United is the biggest Premier League champion, with 13 titles, followed by Manchester City with 7, Chelsea with 5 and Arsenal with 3. However, if we consider all the editions of the English Championship, this podium changes a little!
