Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Redarc Industrial pure sine wave 3,000 watt inverter. This 3,000 watt inverter is going to let you use appliances and devices wherever the road may take you. This 12 volt inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power, so you can plug in tools and appliances. And using that pure sine wave technology it replicates your household AC power, giving you clean power with low distortion. And that's going to make it safe and efficient and perfect especially for your sensitive electronics such as your HDTVs and your computers.

So you can use those more sensitive electronics confidently and safely with this inverter because of that pure sine wave technology. This inverter can generate six 6,000 starting watts and 3,000 running watts. So this is gonna be perfect for powering items such as your camera, laptops, speakers, GPS, BiPAP machines, coffee machines, which is very important, power tools, hair dryers, irons, microwaves, heaters, and more. Now, looking at the front of our inverter here, first of all we have our power switch. that's going to turn this inverter on and off.

And if you move this switch to the lower position there, that's going to allow you to use a remote that will work with this that is sold separately. I'll talk a little bit more about that just the next minute or so. We have our AC output terminals here behind these panels. Then we have a function switch that's going to let you select different output voltages, 100 volt, 110 volt, 115 volt, and 120 volt. And frequencies, 50 hertz and 60 hertz.

And then we have our power save adjustment that's going to set the input and wake up thresholds for the power saver. And then, our status lights that will indicate input voltage level, output load level, and fault conditions. And then the TRC port or the RJ45 port that's not currently in use, but we do have that here on this inverter. And then looking at the opposite side here, we have our positive and negative DC input terminals that's going to connect to your batteries. And then a port for a flush-mount remote, and then the remote control green terminal and then the chassis ground.

Now this inverter includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over and under voltage, overloading and over current. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures and an internal cooling fans that's going to remove excess heat from the unit itself. Now for additional safety, installing a fuse between the battery bank and the inverter will protect your equipment from power surges. So again, the running rated power output is 3,000 watts and the starting surge power output is 6,000 watts. The maximum power voltage is 12 volts DC The input is 10.5 to 16.5 VDC and the output is 100 to 120 VAC. Now the operating temperature range is from negative four degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. And the storage temperature range is from negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. This weighs a little over 18 pounds. And before our time together, I did take some measurements. The overall length of this inverter we're sitting a little about 17 3/8 inches long. And the overall width at the widest point here, where these mounting holes are, we're sitting right at about 10 1/16 inches wide. And then the overall height from top to bottom, we're sitting at about 6 1/4 inches tall. Now these mounting holes, let me flip this over here just on its side so you can get a clear view of these mounting holes. These mounting holes are going to measure beginning measuring lengthwise from center to center, they measure right at 7 3/4 quarters inches center to center. And then, when you're measuring the width from center to center, you're sitting at 9 1/2 inches. Now this inverter is going to mount inside your RV in a dry location with plenty of ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to your battery bank, but not in the same compartment. And the DC terminals are gonna be wired to the battery bank. Instructions are included. It's gonna walk you through again, a little more in depth, some of the features that we talked about today. And I mentioned that the remote for the Redarc pure sine waves inverters, if that is something that you are interested in checking out, I am including on your screen our item number to that remote. And you can just take that item number and put it in the search
