Ashes of the Damned Cutscene Cinematic reaction

Black Ops 7 Zombies week began today and it featured four video teasers that were all streamed on the official Call of Duty Instagram account. Today we’re going to be discussing this and breaking down these teasers.

Teaser 1:
"MAYDAY - this is Echo 685. Position unknown. Repeat, unknown. Does anyone hear me? Shit, where am I? Instruments are dead. Optimeter spinning. Jesus, the clouds are glowing purple. There's electric discharge everywhere. I've never seen... Oh god, (cant make this out). If anyone can hear me, do not! I say again do not (screams)."

So we hear a pilot named Echo 685 who comes across a Dark Aether storm and seemingly crashes. The caption from Treyarch themselves was “📻 A warning emerges from the Dark Aether...” The pilot also sounds very similar to Marlton from Bo2 and Bo4, and could be voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. There’s also the possibility of this being Peter McCain who is the hanging corpse seen in Shi No Numa. Other than that, not much else to dissect from this one.

Teaser 2:
"This is Senior Technician Molotov (Mogotov)(?). I do not know what is happening! We were in launch, initiating countdown when... all facility, all of us, everything moved to this... this place. It was not earthquake, nyet, nyet, nyet... this was something else. Men, tovarich, gone into nothing! Rocket... frozen. How? Fire still burning under engines. No movement. There's taste of metal, blood? (???) Something is out there. What is... (screams)"

This teaser features a character named Molotov, or possibly Mogotov, who is a senior technician in a space operation of some kind. He was part of the team getting ready to send a rocket into space when they were transported into the Dark Aether, freezing the rocket in place. This is essentially confirmation of Ascension.

Teaser 3:
So if you don’t what the importance of this song is, it’s Lovesong for a Deadman, aka the load up theme for TranZit. We’ve known for a while that Black Ops 7 was gonna feature TranZit of some kind, but now we know for a fact that it’s gonna be of bigger importance.

Teaser 4:
Straight away, the “we’re all gonna die” statement is from T.E.D.D. the bus driver from TranZit, who is also going to be an Operator in Black Ops 7. The rest you hear is a bunch of Zombie groans and yells, however, the first set of screaming to me, sounds like the Denizens from TranZit. Here’s a comparison of the two.
