2024 Volkswagen Touareg vs Old VW Touareg
The German Volkswagen brand showed the restyled Touareg.

Volkswagen's flagship SUV has received a significant restyling. The car received a new radiator grille, through which a thin LED strip passes. Among other things, it received improved matrix LED headlights and a rear-lit logo. VW Touareg 2024 headlights were completely redesigned. Now they are matrix, including 38,000 interactive LEDs, like the Porsche Cayenne.
The front and rear bumpers of the crossover were also adjusted. A thin LED strip appeared on the stern, as on the front panel, and a nameplate with illumination. A load sensor is also installed on the roof. It activates ESC when needed to increase stability while driving. This load cell works in conjunction with the upgraded suspension system.
The Touareg also changed the design of the wheels. Wheel options range from 19-inch to 21-inch, but the R-Line and R will get a larger 22-inch set finished in Silicon Gray Matt.

A number of changes took place in the interior of the Touareg. The updated VW Innovision Cockpit combines a 12-inch digital instrument panel and the Discover Pro Max infotainment system with a 15-inch screen. There is navigation, an improved voice assistant, support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other new features include Travel Assist, Park Assist Plus with remote control, Trailer Assist and Night Assist.

The motor range of the model has not changed. The updated Volkswagen Touareg comes with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine with a capacity of 335 hp. Turbodiesels produce 231 and 286 hp. There is also an eHybrid version, in which a similar engine is combined with an electric motor. The total output of the installation is 386 hp. The Touareg R eHybrid variant generates 456 hp. Both hybrids use a 14.1 kWh battery.

VW will sell its updated flagship SUV in Basic, Elegance, R-Line and R variants, starting at prices between €69,200 and €93,870. Since the debut of the model in 2002, more than 1.13 million units have been sold.
