Human egoism is the reason for all our problems, including the coronavirus pandemic.

About 3,800 years ago atop of the deep crisis of human relationships in ancient Babylon, Abraham first observed that competitive behavior is harmful to society’s well-being, and thus, changing the foundation of human relationships to mutually supportive and loving connections can help solve the crisis. Abraham passed his knowledge to the group of Babylonians who followed his teachings and implemented his method. Later on, this group was called “Jews” (from the Hebrew word “Yehudi” (united)).

Today, we are facing a similar but significantly larger crisis. Fed by the media and rules of the consumerism society, our competitiveness has become dangerous for our own existence. In our current world, we have everything, except for balanced and supportive relationships among us.

Through the coronavirus, we slightly learned that it is unhealthy to build our interactions as we used to before. Therefore, we need to consciously rise above our egoistic (at the expense of others) expectations and create a new inner and social background for our connection, or at least, start moving in that direction.

In their history, Jews already have a similar experience on how to do so. Therefore, they need to reestablish the method of “love your neighbor as yourself” and share it to all of humanity.
