How to Create Cross-region Internal Application Load Balancer Using Terraform

Описание к видео How to Create Cross-region Internal Application Load Balancer Using Terraform

Cross-region internal Application Load Balancer is a multi-region load balancer that is implemented as a managed service based on the open-source Envoy proxy. The cross-region mode enables you to load balance traffic to backend services that are globally distributed, including traffic management that ensures traffic is directed to the closest backend. This load balancer also enables high availability. Placing backends in multiple regions helps avoid failures in a single region. If one region's backends are down, traffic can fail over to another region. Cross-region internal Application Load Balancer is in Preview.

In this video, we will use Terraform to see how to Set up a cross-region internal Application Load Balancer with VM instance group backends and then we will verify the connectivity and failover test to another region. A cross-region internal load balancer can be used where Application has global presence and you need your application to be highly available at all the time during any disaster or outage.
