Hollywood cynicism is the phrase I´m using to describe big budget mainstream films created purely with sales in mind - Hollywood not putting business before art, but focusing on business without regard for film making as art or otherwise.

Here I take a look at the rise of the high-concept film and the reliance Hollywood now has on sequels and remakes.
