It is an urban fantasy set during the early 90’s. Katie is like any other fifteen-year-old that is a little odd and a little nerdy. The grind of school days often sends her retreating to the man-made lake of the abandoned Bumpy Plains Amusement Park. The stress-free ambiance provides Katie ample time to sketch illustrations and allow thoughts to flow while occasionally enjoying a swim in the clear waters of the lake. It is during one such excursion to the abandoned amusement park, Katie makes a discovery of something unexpected that upends her world and potentially threatens the town’s safety.
