Описание к видео Bank Melli Iran v. Pahlavi (1995) Overview | LSData Case Brief Video Summary

The Banks sued Shams Pahlavi to enforce judgments against her from Iran. Pahlavi argued that the judgments were made unfairly. The district court found that Pahlavi could not have received due process in Iran and ruled in her favor. Pahlavi then submitted evidence to support her claim, and the court granted summary judgment in her favor again. The Banks appealed, but the court found that the district court had given them enough notice and did not make a mistake. The issue was whether due process was followed in Iran.
