Anastasius "Stossi" and his father, George have interesting, sometimes conflicting, stories about events at the Greek Orthodox Folk Dance Festival (FDF). In 1985, their church, St. Demetrios in Seattle, rented two vans to take the teams of dancers to the annual festival, which was in Oakland, California that year. George was one of the drivers, and Stossi recalls experiencing FDF for the first time. Stossi and George talk about how FDF is about keeping the culture alive and what a big part of their family it has been.
