Anamika is a powerful short film that uncovers the story of a young school-going girl who is molested by her father’s trusted friend. The film begins with the simplicity of the little girl's daily life, gradually exposing a naked truth of our society. Through sensitive storytelling and symbolic visuals, the documentary reveals how easily trust can be misused within a family's inner circle.

As the story deepens, the tone shifts from simple to intensely dramatic. In a powerful climax, the girl's late mother reappears as a protective spirit, confronting the man who tried to harm her child. The father—who had no idea of the horror unfolding under his rhoof— realises his wife’s ghost defending their daughter, forcing him to face a truth he never imagined.

Starting on a gentle note and ending with deep drama, Anamika leaves a powerful message for families and society—urging everyone to stay aware, to listen to children, and to protect them from the dangers that often hide in plain sight.
