My objection is not just about these recent abuses, although they weigh very heavily on my heart. It isn’t for the executions of people like me during the Inquisitions and other persecutions. It isn’t for any peripheral doctrinal issue, although there are many. My main, and most damning, issue was the heart-breaking answer I got when I told a Catholic friend that he needs to become born again. How is it possible that an organization which is supposed to represent Christ on earth, and organization which is supposed to show its parishioners the Way to Heaven not reveal to this lost soul, or any other of its members, this crucial admonition of Christ, “You Must Be Born Again.”?
