How To Clean Sneakers, White Or Colored, Converse, Nike, Disel Shoes

In this video I will show you how I clean my sneakers at home with baking soda, Down dishwash soap and a toothbrush. I am cleaning Converse, Guess, Disel, and Nike sneakers and make them look new again. I prefer to clean my sneakers using common household items instead of chemicals - they do work better. I also prefer to clean my sneakers by hand because the washing machine is too rough on them and they will not last as long.
Start by removing the soles and the laces and wash them in the washing machine. If the soles are non removable, wash them with the Dawn soap and a toothbrush. If the soles of your sneakers or the sneakers smell, scrub them very well with the baking soda mixture and let them sit with it for a while. Baking soda will eliminate the smell.
Also, use the baking soda and dish soap to clean your white sneakers, but the black once clean with the dishwash soap only.
When you clean the rubber part of your sneakers, apply the baking soda and Dawn mixture and let it sit for at least 15 minutes before scrubbing. The baking soda will bleach the rubber strip and will make it look brand new.
