Maestro Gier took a stroll through the Backyard this morning, Backyard broadcasting that is, to talk about the upcoming South Dakota Symphony Orchestra and Chorus performance of Haydn's, The Creation. In this video Tom & Christy, of KELO FM, learn all about this weekend's season finale.

This captivating depiction of the creation of the world as described in the biblical "Book of Genesis" will touch your heart and lift your spirit!

Performances by the SDSO along with a full chorus and three guest artists will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm in the glorious, newly restored St. Joseph Cathedral. This is a wonderful opportunity to really experience this magnificant oratorio in a surrounding that serves as a performance of its own; a regionally significant treasure open to people of all denominations for this unique performance.

Tickets remain for Thursday and Friday performances, Saturday is SOLD OUT.

The Creation moves to the Mary W. Sommervold Hall of the Washington Pavilion for a 2:30pm performance on Sunday.
