Visakha Utsav 2026, themed "Sea to Sky," is currently underway as a nine-day mega-celebration of North Andhra's culture, heritage, and tourism. Running from January 24 to February 1, 2026, the festival spans 20 locations across Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, and Alluri Sitarama Raju districts. 

Key Highlights & Schedule

Main Hub: RK Beach serves as the primary festival zone with the main stage near Kali Mata Temple hosting daily cultural programmes from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Flower Show: Held at VMRDA City Central Park from January 29 to 31, featuring over 100 rare flower varieties.

Araku Utsav: The festivities expanded to Araku Valley on January 29, featuring tribal dance performances, hot air balloon rides, and local coffee experiences.

Grand Finale: Scheduled for February 1 in Anakapalle, concluding the nine-day regional outreach. 

Activities & Attractions

Adventure Sports: Helicopter rides, paragliding, paramotoring, and trekking.

Competitions: "Crown of Vizag" pageants (Mr., Miss, and Mrs. Vizag), a Heritage Treasure Hunt, and a Children’s Olympiad at Swarna Bharathi Stadium on January 31.

Entertainment: Live musical concerts, including a performance by RP Patnaik, alongside massive drone shows and carnival parades.

Exhibitions: 70+ stalls at RK Beach and 15 stalls at Gokul Park featuring traditional handlooms and local crafts. 

The festival, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, is expected to attract over 10 lakh visitors and generate significant economic activity for the region.
