Dr. Nicola Bennett, is a passionate naturopathic physician and yoga instructor. Born and raised in Whistler, from a young age she was skiing, mountain biking and competing in gymnastics. Her outdoorsy, athletic upbringing sparked a keen interest in the human body, health, and movement. Nicola completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science at the UBC in 2009. Although she had always wanted to be a doctor, she realized along the way that conventional medicine was not for her. Yoga was the key that unlocked a door to a whole new world of Eastern philosophy and healing traditions.

Nicola went on to pursue her doctorate at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, graduating in 2017. Dr. Nicola has a special interest in women’s health and subtle aesthetic injections. She works with women at all ages of life, especially supporting them through major hormonal transitions like pregnancy and menopause. She offers comprehensive hormone testing and uses hormone replacement therapy when appropriate. Another passion of hers is helping her patients bring more balance into their busy lives, by supporting the nervous system and stress response. Expect Dr. Nicola to recommend tailored laboratory testing in order to best support you and monitor your progress along the way.

Dr. Nicola loves to help her patients feel better both inside and out, and knows first hand that aging gracefully can dramatically improve one’s self confidence and wellbeing. She firmly believes that less is more when it comes to injectables; you can always trust her to give you an honest opinion, and create a sustainable treatment plan with long lasting results. Dr. Nicola is certified in IV therapy, acupuncture, dermal fillers, therapeutic and cosmetic neuromodulators, and holds prescriptive authority in BC. When she is not seeing patients, you can find Dr. Nicola teaching yoga at Shala Yoga, spending time in her garden, and enjoying all the outdoor living that Squamish has to offer.
