Nine Palace Ba Gua Zhang’s The Third and Fourth Routines
“Zhen Palace Eight Palms” and “Dui Palace Eight Palms”

“Nine Palace Ba Gua Zhang” is a Chinese traditional martial arts featuring a flexible movement like a dragon and a footwork that draws a circle.
This martial arts quickly goes around the enemy's side and behind to attack them.
This martial arts has a variety of attacks, such as attacking the key points by fingertips, powerful palms and fist hits, ultra -distant attacks using elbows and knees, and joint techniques.

Dong Hai Chuan → Shi Ji Dong → Han Fu Shun → Wu Jun Shan → Zhang Fa Meng → Wang Xi Liang → Zhao Yu Xiang → Ryosuke Obata

There are eight kinds of "routine (a series of practice methods composed of multiple techniques)" to learn after the basic practice.
In this practice method, we all train various techniques while moving around the circumference.
Various routines have eight techniques, and we will learn a total of 64 techniques.

This video shows the third routine and the fourth routine.
Originally, each routine is performed in both clockwise and counterclockwise, but in this video, the clockwise is performed in the third routine, and the counterclockwise is performed in the fourth routine.

九宮八卦掌は、龍のようなしなやかな動きと円を描くフットワークが特徴の中国伝統武術です。
相手と正面からぶつからず、素早く側面や背後に回り込んで攻めるのを得意とします。
指先による急所への攻撃の他、発勁による強力な掌打や拳打、肘や膝を使った超近距離攻撃、そして、関節技などバリエーション豊かな攻撃をおこないます。

≪九宮八卦掌の伝承系譜≫

九宮八卦掌には、基礎練習を終えた後に学ぶ「套路（複数の技で構成された一連の練習法）」が八種類あります。
いずれも円周を移動しながら、様々な技を繰り出してゆきます。
各種の套路にはそれぞれ八つの技があり、合計64技の基本技法を学びます。

この動画は第3番目の套路と第4番目の套路を演示したものです。

《第三掌：震宮八掌（しんきゅうはちしょう）》
1.指南針（しなんしん）
2.団掌（だんしょう）　
3.蒼龍擺尾（そうりゅうはいび）　
4.獅子抱球（ししほうきゅう）　
5.背身吐信（はいしんとしん）　
6.反背捶（はんべいすい）　
7.孤雁出群（こがんしゅつぐん）　
8.旋風掌（せんぷうしょう）

《第四掌：兌宮八掌（だきゅうはちしょう）》
1. 迎門推扇（げいもんすいせん）　
2.倒址風舟（とうしふうしゅう）　
3.二郎坦山（じろうたんざん）　
4.冲天火炮（ちゅうてんかほう）　
5.悪虎扒心（あくこはつしん）　
6.走馬回頭（そうまかいとう）　
7.純鎌割草（じゅんれんかつそう）　
8.老僧披衣（ろうそうひい）

＊本来、各套路は右回りと左回りの両方向をおこなうのですが、本動画では右回りを第三掌で、左回りを第四掌で演武しています。
