2022 Aviation Nation - USAF Airpower & Combined Arms Demo

At the 2022 Air Show at Nellis Air Force Base known as “2022 Aviation Nation”. This was my first time traveling to the West Coast to see an Air Show in person and Nellis Air Force Base was a very good choice!!

In my opinion this was possibly the big highlight of the entire show! It was a long Airpower and Combined Arms Demonstration with so many variants in the sky and I was not expecting to see that many.

Participating in this Combined Arms demo were: F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-35A Lightning II, A-10 Thunderbolt II, and F-22 Raptor, all from the 422nd Test & Evaluation Squadron, F-15E Strike Eagle from the 17th Weapon Squadron, and additional F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 64th Aggressors Squadron acting the role as the Bogeys. Also participating were two HH-60 Pave Hawk helictoper's from the USAF 66th Rescue Squadron (Recently deactivated I believe). The show also consisted of other rescue ground forces as well. Watch the Bogeys make their initial attack followed by a sudden scramble by an F-22 as a dogfight commences along with various knock out punch attacks by the above mentioned aircraft and a combat zone reenactment taking stage here at Nellis Air Force Base!!
