Gun.Smoke (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

Описание к видео Gun.Smoke (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Capcom's 1988 NES game, Gun.Smoke.

I only played through the first loop. The game repeats three times, but the only difference I've ever been able to notice is a line on the last screen that tells you congratulations instead of Press Start.

This is one of my favorite Capcom NES games that wasn't part of a huge series or based on a license. It's essentially a port of the Japanese Famicom Disk System port of the 1985 coin-up shooter, wherein instead of a ship, you control some bounty hunter that is trying to save a town in the Old West from the apparently ruthless and evil Wingates. Each level requires that you get a wanted poster (either bought from storekeepers or found by shooting unmarked parts of the background) so that you can find the boss, and then you have to shoot the boss to death to collect your reward money and move on. Pretty simple and bloodthirsty setup, and it plays really well! It's a bit on the easy side, but it's got tons of personality, the soundtrack is really on point, and the whole affair is really quite a major step up from Commando, Capcom's earlier, similarly styled game.

And is it just me, or does that second level music sound awfully similar in some ways to the music in Little Nemo The Dream Master?
