WELCOME TO THE CT SCAN section!

Formed in early February 2013, The CT Scan has quickly become one of Western New York's finest acoustical acts. Two guys making a lot of noise is pretty much an understatement but you'll know what we mean when you see this duo.

Christopher joel (vocals, Guitar, Bass, Foot percussion, etc.)

Christopher is your definition of a "one man band". Utilizing all four limbs of his body at once to create music and noise is quite cool. Recently dubbed "The Launchpad", Chris plays guitar, sings (sometimes even blows a harmonica) as well as hitting a bass drum with his right foot and a tamborine with his left foot (and finds time in between that to utilize his guitar pedals as well!) He initially got the idea years ago when he saw a drummer in NYC using an old suitcase attached to a drum pedal. He took it to a different level and customized a smaller bass drum so there'd be enough room between his drum, guitar pedals and tamborine. Chris doesn't use any sampling units, vocal pedals, laptops, etc...to make extra noise. When you are at a CT SCAN show (or a Christopher Joel show), all the music is coming from him.

Tom proctor (guitars, vocals, crowd motivator and everything else)

A.K.A. the "Silent One". Tom has been shredding the guitar for many years and his playing definately shows. He's not your everyday "sub-standard" guitar player. Tom adds a ton of color and light into the CT Scan show with his guitar skills and as well as his lead and backing vocals. Listing U2's The Edge and Rush's Alex Liefson as his two guitar influences, Tom's playing and sound definately reflects that. Crowd Motivator...he sure is! While Chris has himself secured to his "Launchpad", Tom is out in the forefront getting the people into it and even handing off his microphone for audience participation.
